Travelling whilst pregnant can be a daunting prospect as you are never quite sure about the safety factors involved for you and your baby. If you have booked a package holiday, travel insurance can be included in the price but may not cover for your specific requirements whilst you are pregnant, so you will need to make sure that you take out adequate pregnant holiday insurance. Some policies may cover for medical emergencies whilst on holiday but may not cover specifically for losses incurred by pregnant women, for example in the event that you need to cancel as a direct result of your pregnancy.
