But of course even if a particular insurance company only specializes in providing their clients with a certain type of insurance, such as car insurance, they typically provide a wide variety of different plans. (In fact, you only want to work with insurance companies that provide a wide variety of different insurance plans because there really is no such thing as a “one size fits all” insurance plan.)
You also only want to work with insurance companies where you feel the insurance agents and customer service reps really listen and respond to all of your questions and concerns. If the insurance agents and other staff members of a certain insurance company are not helpful and do not spend enough time answering all of your questions, this is not a good sign. Chances are if you have a car accident or other problem they will not be responsive to you when you really need them.
On the other hand, if all of the staff members that you deal with in your initial phone calls to a specific insurance company are polite and responsive, this bodes very well for your dealings with them in the aftermath of a crisis or accident, which, of course, is exactly when you need them to come through for you.
